Todd Chambers Student Accommodation – Installed by G-One Fire
Student accommodation is an important growth area in fire detection, as awareness and safety standards improve around the country. Todd Chambers student accommodation offers a safe and secure residence for students of the Nelson Mandela University in Eastern Cape.
As with most fire detection systems, the need for comprehensive cover must be matched with budget considerations to give the client the best possible value for money. G-One Fire designed, installed and commissioned a G2 EA 2 loop panel providing smoke and heat detection throughout the building. Sounder strobes were installed as the alarm warning to ensure the students have plenty of early warning of any fire event, allowing them to leave the building safely.
The G-One team are relatively new to the G2 EA range, but were delighted at how simple and easy it was to install and program, with one technician claiming “This panel is legit!”. High praise indeed.
We are delighted to see that alongside the robust EA-P232 G-OneFire have nicely printed zone plans and a logbook holder mounted, as per SANS10139 requirements.
