A Brief History
G2 started life in 2005 as G2 Security, reselling access control and CCTV. In 2009 talks with Ziton lead to distribution of the Ziton range. Then Ziton got bought by GE, followed by UTC, then Carrier and under new ownership are now Kidde Global Solutions. In each of these acquisitions, the relationship with G2 as a distributor grew from strength to strength. In 2013 the company made the strategic decision to discontinue the security products and concentrate solely on Fire Detection.
With the announced end of life for Ziton, G2 Fire searched the globe for an alternative fire detection manufacturer and we were fortunate to find Sanjiang Global Fire. Dedicated to fire detection since 1985, their extensive experience within their local Chinese market, where they are one of the top 3 fire alarm manufacturers, enabled them to confidently expand their products into the EN54 certified regions.
Focusing on Fire has enabled the company to become experts in the field, offering even further value to the market, and bringing a wide range of products with all the support you’ve come to expect from G2.
