On Friday 5th May G2 Fire had the pleasure of hosting Grade 11 girls from Buhulebemfundo Secondary School for our first workshop. The workshop is aimed at educating the girls about career opportunities in the fire industry, and other technical roles.

After a presentation the girls built their own electrical circuits, which was followed by a fire alarm panel demonstration by our very own Daniel Mathebula.

Matlala Sathekge, was our special guest speaker who gave the girls an inspiring talk on how she came from rural Limpopo to be a qualified Mechanical Engineer, now working for a government department.

The workshop finished off with lunch and gift bags for the girls to take home, along with their LED circuits, to remember their day.

We can only hope the girls had as much fun as we did!
